Cold and Flu Relief Protocol

 

*** Very Important***

 

For best results begin these remedies at the very first sign of getting sick. Don’t wait! We all get an “Uh Oh” moment before we get sick - start then and keep repeating frequently! Do not just take one or two doses and then stop

 

 

Standard Process and MediHerb Supplements to Take

(Available at Nutritional Wellness Center)

 

  • Congaplex - At onset: 2 capsules every 30-60 minutes. Keep repeating until you are sure you are not getting sick. Do not just take one or two doses and stop. You must repeat this frequently. Once you are sick: 10 -12 capsules spread throughout the day.

  • Cataplex A-C - 9-12 tablets spread throughout the day.

  • Medi Herb Herbal Throat Spray: Unlimited all day long. This is not only for a sore throat! It boost the entire immune system. Use is as preventive.

  • Echinacea Premium and/or Andrographis Complex: If the cold is severe or is not clearing up quickly. At onset: 2 tablets per hour. Once you’re sick: 4-6 tablets spread throughout the day.  

 

Home Remedies to Try:

 

  • Raw Apple Cider Vinegar and Water: In an 8 oz. Glass of water mix 2 tsp of raw apple cider vinegar. You could add 1 tsp of Raw Honey and/or 1 tsp of Blackstrap Molasses if you are not sugar sensitive. Repeat through the day.

  • Drink Plenty of Bone Broth throughout the day.

  • Hot Water with Fresh Squeezed Lemon, Grated Ginger and 1 tsp of Raw Honey through the day.

  • Gargle with Salt Water

  • Netti Pot

  • Steaming

  • Put 1-2 drops of hydrogen peroxide in each ear. (for any cold, not just earaches)

 

The Key is to Stay Healthy! Here are some reminders:

 

  • Get plenty of sleep - this is number one!

  • Drink plenty of water

  • Limit/eliminate sweets

  • Eat good fats

  • Have homemade bone broth (using apple cider vinegar)

  • Take all supplements as directed
